Report: 4G and 5G for Wireless WAN Become Pervasive

In enterprise networking, most organizations have embraced 4G and 5G for Wireless WAN, meaning they’re using cellular routers or adapters as WAN infrastructure for sites, vehicles, IoT, or remote workers.

The State of Wireless WAN 2022 report, based on survey results from IDG, reveals several key trends pointing toward one overarching reality: Wireless WAN has become an essential component of networking. In fact, organizations that use 4G/5G for Wireless WAN increased from 41% of respondents in 2018 to 67% in 2021.
